BACK FROM EUROPE...

And kinda tired.  Indeed.  But it was great, even better than the last tour (which is the idea I guess)... cheers to everyone we met, all the good bands we played with, all the promoters, and to everyone at all the squats, clubs, and youth centers that put up with us.  Thanks for all the beer and Jager!  Keep in touch.  We'll be back.

Catching up on a bunch of work...and emails, so thanks for your patience folks!

BOILING BREAKFAST EARLY

The cassette version is available from Dead Format (www.myspace.com/deadformat).  The online version is available exclusively from Downloadpunk (www.downloadpunk.com/fistolo). Both versions have a bonus track exclusive to each release.  For those of you that don't know, this is not a "new" Mischief Brew release.  In fact it's the oldest, a collective of demos, radio performances, and practice sessions.  But the first demo ("Mirth") is on there in its entirety, along with some never-before-heard tracks.  Buyer beware: it is RAW stuff, mostly scratchy 4-track recordings and early acoustic takes.  But most of the songs were remixed and remastered by Steve Roche at Permanent Hearing Damage, so it actually sounds better than it ever did!

Cheers to everyone that either supported a DIY cassette only label, or an independent online store... MB was the top download for a while there, knockin' out Pennywise (yeah!), and was made release of the week as well.

NEWS IN BRIEF

For another few days, you can listen to two exclusive acoustic tracks on the Y-Rock On WXPN Local Show myspace page... the songs are "Nomads Revolt" and "Gimme Coffee or Death," recorded for a radio interview a while back.  You can listen at: www.myspace.com/yrockonxpnlocalmusicshow

Check out the two upcoming NYC and Philly shows, both acoustic... not long after that, I think we're gonna give the Mischief Brew website a new look.  Nothing too fancy or flashy... but it is spring you know...

New 7", "Jobs in Steeltown," has been recorded.  The photography (cover art and such) is by Christine Boarts-Larson (Slug & Lettuce).  It is a 2-song 45, but will also be available for download from Downloadpunk and CAHDownloads.  That's all I know right now.  Please don't ask when it's coming out.  "Soon" is the answer.  But it's not even at the pressing plant yet.  It will be on Fistolo Records.

We have some more "Smash the Windows" LPs... returned with a bunch from Germany.  I believe the second pressing will be coming soon on colored vinyl... but again, I don't know much else.

I'm as useless as lips on a chicken, I know.
